Quick Help
Guides and quick troubleshooting steps for using Xeranus Speech-to-Text.
1. How to Transcribe Audio/Video
Simply click on the 'Upload' tab to drag and drop your audio or video file, or go to the 'Record' tab to start recording directly from your microphone. Select your language, choose the content type, and hit 'Start Transcription'.
2. Supported Formats & Limits
We support common audio and video formats including MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG, and MP4. Guest users can process files up to 5 minutes, while registered users can process files up to 15 minutes and 25 MB. PRO packages support larger and longer files.
3. Troubleshooting Microphone Issues
If the microphone does not record, ensure you have granted microphone access to the browser. Most browsers require a secure HTTPS connection or localhost to access recording hardware.
4. Account Balance & Packages
You can check your remaining balance in the sidebar or profile dropdown. To top up, go to 'Buy Balance' and choose a plan. Select a communication channel (WhatsApp/Telegram) to complete your payment and update your balance in less than 24 hours.
5. Tips for High Accuracy
Ensure background noise is kept to a minimum and speakers speak clearly near the microphone. High-noise filtering is enabled automatically for PRO users, ensuring optimal results even in difficult environments.
6. Using the AI Summarizer
After your audio is converted to text, click on the 'Summarize' button in the text editor. You can choose different summary modes such as paragraphs, key points, action items, or major decisions.
