By accessing, browsing, or using our Speech-to-Text service and website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use in their entirety. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue your use of our services immediately. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and others who access the service.

Description of Service

Xeranus is an advanced, AI-powered Speech-to-Text transcription platform designed primarily for the Kurdish (Sorani), Arabic, and English languages. We provide tools that allow users to convert uploaded audio files, video files, or direct microphone recordings into written text. While we strive for the highest possible accuracy utilizing state-of-the-art artificial intelligence models, the quality of the transcription may vary depending on audio clarity, background noise, dialect, and recording quality. The service is continuously evolving, and we may add, modify, or remove features at any time without prior notice.

User Accounts, Billing & Balances

To access certain features of Xeranus, you must create a user account. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Transcription balances (measured in hours) can be purchased through our official pricing plans. Please note that all purchases are final and non-refundable unless explicitly required by applicable consumer protection laws. Your available balance will be deducted proportionately based on the duration of the audio or video files you process through our system.

Data Processing, Security & Privacy

We prioritize your privacy and the security of your data. To ensure maximum confidentiality, all audio and video files uploaded for transcription are processed strictly in-memory. This means your media files are not permanently stored on our servers and are irrevocably deleted immediately upon the completion of the transcription process. For the convenience of registered users, the resulting transcribed text is securely stored in your account history for a period of 10 days, after which it is automatically deleted. You also retain the right to manually delete your transcription history at any time.

Intellectual Property & Prohibited Conduct

You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload. However, you agree not to upload any material that is illegal, defamatory, harmful, or violates the intellectual property rights of third parties. You may not use Xeranus for any unlawful purposes or to distribute malicious software. Furthermore, any attempt to scrape our data, reverse engineer our AI models, bypass our security measures, or exploit the system's infrastructure is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.

Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

Xeranus is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, entirely secure, or completely error-free. Xeranus, its founders, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any inaccuracies in the transcribed text, loss of data, loss of profits, or any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service. You are entirely responsible for verifying the accuracy of the generated text before using it for official or professional purposes.
